Trio of Internet Marketers Launch New Video Portal
by Jennifer Laycock
Everyone learns in different ways. Some of us embrace articles, some adore podcasts. Some prefer to learn by doing and some prefer to learn by watching. It’s this last group of people that’s been targeted by a new site called IMBroadcast.com. Launched by Search & Social’s Dave Snyder, Jordan Kasteller and Search Engine Journal’s Loren Baker, the site aims to pool internet videos put together by online marketers into an easy to access social community.
Similar to YouTube, the site allows for the creation of channels, comments on the videos, keyword tagging and more. According to the trio, the site will also feature live streaming content.
You can also host videos on the IMBroadcast site and use the provided embed code to show the video on your own blog, much like I’m doing right here:
Much like Search Engine Land launched Sphinn as the social bookmarking community for search and online marketers, the team behind IMBroadcast hopes the ability to browse only online marketing focused videos will draw an active and vibrant community to their site.
If you’re a big fan of learning through video, or a producer of online video, it’s worth checking out.
